Zolon leverages a process driven framework for shared program management that can also combine Global Distributed Delivery teams on multiple continents. The model leverages the best infrastructure and knowledge resources that are available enabling delivery of repeatable value to clients.

The robustness of our Program Management Framework is driven by Zolon’s values that emphasize clear communication, quality, work ethics and client needs, thus reducing engagement risk. Zolon’s Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Hyderabad, India, acts as an extension of your IT development and support teams and maintains a dedicated mix of specialized programming and engineering resources.

We manage our onsite, offshore, and combination onsite-offshore development and support projects using the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and our process maturity framework, SEI-CMMI ML 3, tailored as appropriate to the client environment. Work products and service delivery quality are controlled and audited in compliance with our ISO 9001:2000 registered Quality Management System (QMS) and corporate oversight is provided at no cost on all projects. Our management process involves:

  • Planning – a detailed approach to accomplishing the task objectives (schedules, milestones and deliverables);
  • Provisioning - providing the resources (human capital, equipment and corporate resources) for project fulfillment;
  • Performing - performing, managing technical, cost and schedule performance and reporting status using standardized reporting mechanisms; and
  • Improving – through the review of deliverables and collection and utilization of performance metrics supporting a Continuous Process Improvement Plan (CPIP).

Zolon’s GDC maintains a world class, secure network infrastructure with an International Private Leased Circuit and power supply back-up systems consisting of UPS for the server rooms and workstations and generators for the entire facility. The GDC also maintains a Process Asset Library, a centralized process portal that contains processes, workflows, tools and templates for all CMMI process areas and Zolon project phases.
